White House fence

The Post is talking about a guy from Arkansas who scaled the White House fence today. Not entirely sure why the Arkansas connection is in the lead of the story, but I guess they don’t much else. Reminds me of a trip to the White House a few years ago when I talked to a Secret Service agent about ‘crazies’ trying to visit the White House. He said “We don’t get that many crazy people, but you’d be suprised how many people ‘God tells’ to go talk to the President.” By the way, did you know the Secret Service has a SWAT team called The Counter Assault team.
