Brown Butterflies

Sea Nettle (Jellyfish) even though the prediction map says I shouldn’t be seeing one yet. But then I saw something moving along the sandy bottom. They Rays were back. Well, actually, we’ve seen more calf-nosed ray activity this year than in any prior–with several visitors every week. But today, because the water was still, I could look down and see them flapping around. They looked like giant brown butterflies. I yelled for everyone to come to the windows and look, but I think their interest in sleep outweighed their interest in scientific observation. C’est la vie../]]>
