New York Times concerning the collapse of Pixar and Disney mentions way at the bottom an aside about Steve Jobs being considered to run Disney should Disney CEO Eisner step down (or be kicked out). Jobs has run Pixar to the delight of investors over the last few years, and his work with Apple is legendary. But to run Disney? That really sounds a bit far fetched. Disney is monster studio with a monster retail operation and a monster resort destination (they have their own cruise ship for goodness sake). To say Jobs would be qualified is a bit of a stretch. ]]>
