There are about 9 different standards in use today, and no one can seem to agree on which is best. Google pushes one, the bloggers another (and even they are split). It’s quite an annoyance. ]]>
The IpodCast Directory has solved a major problem. I was racking my brain trying to find a “tag” in an XML-RSS document, but couldn’t find the right syntax to do it while stuck on the other side of the world. I finally just hacked and hacked and hacked, and then downloaded some software that let me preview immediately every change. That was a big help and eventually I got it to work. Now I can build a massive archive directory and go from there.]]>

ipodcast directory of feeds is now online. Podcasting is a new technology for the distribution of audio content which is pretty promising, and I’m trying to take PenguinRadio along for the ride. ]]>
