White House fence

The Post is talking about a guy from Arkansas who scaled the White House fence today. Not entirely sure why the Arkansas connection is in the lead of the story, but I guess they don’t much else. A late October inspection sweep of 400 buses by a task force of federal, state and local authorities turned up more than 500 safety-related violations, according to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, which regulates interstate bus and truck companies. This came in response to two recent bus burnings on the popular DC-NY-Boston corridor. Needlesss to say, I have a big case of “I told you so” today.]]>
