The last few months, I’ve been asked to help out with a new “newspaper” in DC called the WashingtonBroadsheet It’s a bunch of freelancers I know trying their hand at creating a news source for D.C., focusing heavily on local stories, especially crime.
As I’m out on the streets most days, I come across quite a bit of crime and have been feeding them photos for their stories for quite a while now. Eventually I may even help write some stories, but we’ll see how that goes.
So check out the Broadsheet for some crime stories and other bits about Washington D.C.

Maybe we should just build new cities. Start with the subway systems under basically farmland or deserts and then build the rest of the city atop of the existing tunnels? Might be cheaper.
Meanwhile, DC’s Streetcar effort remains hopeless stalled at about two blocks of work. The streetcars are stuck in the Czech Republic, having spent the first few years of their warranty in storage in the factory because DC doesn’t have anywhere to put them yet.]]>
