Yahoo is reporting that a friend of mine from Notre Dame is running for the Japanese Congress in a special election this April. Masanori Hirata was born in Japan and educated in the United States. He is running for the Democratic Party of Japan, the main opposition party to the current government. Should be pretty exciting. I’ll have to find his Japanese website when he gets one online.]]>
